Often referred to as the "butter blade" the #10R can be used in Aesthetic procedures such as "Dermaplaning" which helps to "refinish" the skin's top layers through a method of controlled surgical scraping which exfoliates the epidermis.

Shorter and more rounded than the #14 it is ideal for getting into smaller more restricted areas of the face and the rounded (bull nose) tip prevents any accidental snagging or scratching thus providing a more effective and consistent finish.

Dermaplaning can be performed on small areas of skin or on the entire face and can be used alone or in conjunction with other procedures such as a chemical peel, microdermabrasion, or fluorescent pulsed light (FPL). Dermaplaning, when performed prior to other treatments, can remove the peach fuzz which can trap excess dirt and oil.

Fits #3 Handle - Standard (GM01033) or Extra Long (GM0913) [Standard Handle is more usual]
