Test Your BP Technique

Click here to test your blood pressure cuff technique

  • Few clinicians realize that conventional bladders have off-centered tubes that are typically right or left arm specific. Unless properly placed, pressure may be exerted on the bone instead of on the artery which can lead to inaccurate readings.
  • TRIMLINE's BALANCED Bladder design has centered tubes, is longer, and more fully encircles the arm as recommended by the American Society of Hypertension 1 and the American Heart Association 2. This design facilitates accurate blood pressure readings on both right and left arms and helps practitioners achieve optimal arterial compression.

1 American Society of Hypertension, "Recommendations for Routine Blood Pressure Measurement by Indirect Cuff Sphygmomanometry," American Journal of Hypertension, April 1992, p. 207.
2 "Human Blood Pressure Determination by Sphygmomanometry," American Heart Association, Dallas, Texas, ©1967, 1980, 1987, 1994 American Heart Association, p. 12.

    Pre-Gaged® Range Markings

  • The range guide is located on the outside of the cuff, in full view of the clinician, to help prevent misdiagnosis due to the use of a cuff that is either too large or too small for the patient's arm. You can feel confident knowing that the proper size cuff is being used.

  • Pre-Gauged

    Antimicrobial Treatment

  • An antimicrobial agent is bonded to the fabric of the Omni-Kuff® Blood Pressure Cuff. The agent helps prevent the growth of bacteria and mildew on the cuff fabric and helps control odors. Unlike some antimicrobial agents that leach out over time, this treatment lasts for the life of the cuff fabric.
